North Locality Information Fayre
On Saturday, the first North Locality Information Fayre took place in Cumbernauld Town Centre.
Many groups and charities providing services in the Cumbernauld area joined forces for the event, including Clyde FC and the Clyde Community Foundation, who attended to help spread the word about the projects being deliver at Broadwood Stadium and beyond.
Karen Elliott and Tom Elliott were joined by a Football Memories participant in representing the Foundation. Clyde manager, Danny Lennon and first team players, Ray Grant and Kristoffer Syvertsen also joined the group and offered photos and autographs.
Karen said: “Saturday was great to be a part of, meeting new people and also catching up with familiar faces. The Community Foundation are pleased to support events like this and share our good work, like our Football Memories programme and everything else that Tom, myself and the team deliver in the local area.
“Special thanks to Danny and the players who have supported us at various events recently. We look forward to our relationship continuing in the months to come.”
Danny added: “The work that Clyde Foundation deliver in the community is superb and l’m delighted to be able to support all of their events and programmes.”
