Goodwillie Suffers Arm Injury

The club can confirm that David Goodwillie suffered an arm fracture during Saturday’s match against Berwick Rangers.

David was involved in a collision while scoring Clyde’s second goal and, despite playing on for another 45 minutes, tests have now confirmed the nature of the striker’s injury.

Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-

“It was typical of the courage and desire that David shows every time he pulls on a Clyde jersey, that he continued to play on after hurting his arm when scoring on Saturday. It’s now been confirmed that there is a fracture, which will need time to heal.

“We will give David all the support he needs to get back contributing on the pitch as soon as possible.”
