PREVIEW: Clyde v Annan Athletic
Clyde’s Ladbrokes League 2 campaign continues tomorrow, with a home match against Annan Athletic.
It’s the second meeting of the sides this season, following a 2-1 win for The Bully Wee at Galabank in September, and the Dumfries and Galloway club are currently only six points behind in the table as the promotion race continues.
Speaking ahead of the match, Danny Lennon said:-
“Our last two games have seen periods of play where we have shown what we are capable of, but also where we still need to improve.
“Against Cowdenbeath, we scored a tremendous team goal, with seven passes starting from the goalkeeper, finished off with a great strike by John Rankin. However, again we cost ourselves two points by conceding a soft goal in a game where we had the lions share of possession and shots on goal.
“We need to find the mentality to see these games out. I believe in this group of players. We have it within us to turn draws into wins and pursue our ambitions this season.”
