PREVIEW: Clyde v Berwick Rangers

The Ladbrokes League 2 campaign gets underway again tomorrow, with Berwick Rangers visiting Cumbernauld.

The Bully Wee had a blank Saturday last weekend, but will be looking to build on a fine away win at Elgin City last time out. The Wee Rangers have also enjoyed recent success, following back-to-back league wins.

Jordan Stewart and Jack Boyle both return to contention to feature in the Clyde squad.

Speaking ahead of the match, Danny Lennon said:-

“We’re all very aware that our recent home form hasn’t been as good as we want and we know the way that teams are trying to make it difficult for us at Broadwood. We’ve spoken about how we deal with that and the concentration levels needed at both ends of the pitch, even if we are dominant in terms of possession.

“As I’ve said before, it’s a long season and every team will have a blip. We need to be ready to pounce on that and capitalise on it when it happens to those around us.

“Last week’s friendly against Linlithgow Rose served its purpose in giving extra game time to those that needed it within the squad, with a few players showing the benefits of it and pushing for a place.”
