Legends Lunch Update
Arrangements are well underway for the 1972-73 Legends Lunch, taking place in the Arria Lounge at Broadwood on 15th December.
Former players Phil Cairney, Eddie Anderson, Jimmy Burns, Willie McVie, John McHugh, Joe McGoldrick, Brian Ahern, Dom Sullivan, Sam Millar and Colin Thomson have all confirmed their attendance, with hopefully another couple of ex-players to be added to the list soon.
Also coming along will be Fraser Bruce, who wrote and sang ‘Song of the Clyde’ and ‘One-Two-Three…”, the songs that appeared on the Bully Wee single produced that season.
The book of the season, written by Clyde supporters Alan Maxwell, Jim Hutchison, Graeme Clark and club historian Gordon Sydney, is also expected to be available to purchase on the day.
Tickets are priced at £50 (£40 for Arria Silver members) and can be purchased on the official Clyde Yapsody site.
So, come along and reminisce with your friends, fellow fans, and of course the players who saw The Bully Wee emerge as Second Division Champions in April 1973.
