NEW SIGNING: Jack Boyle
The club is delighted to announce the signing of Jack Boyle on a one-year contract.
The skilful forward scored four goals in 16 appearances for The Bully Wee during a successful loan spell from Huddersfield Town in the second half of last season.
The 20-year-old subsequently left Huddersfield last month and he has now returned to Broadwood on a permanent basis.
Funds raised from the Flying Start initiative have been allocated to contribute towards the deal to bring Jack to Clyde.
A delighted Danny Lennon spoke to the official website this afternoon after Jack put pen to paper:-
“The signing of Jack is very pleasing, as we shape the final dimensions of an exciting squad for the season ahead. Jack has great technical ability and we saw him grow in his time here last season, where he brought his first senior goals, assists and contributions.
“We are pleased that Jack has put his trust in the coaching staff here to help him convert his phenomenal potential into more goals, assists and eye-catching performances. He is the type of player that can excite fans when he is on the ball and he can be highly effective in that final third of the pitch.
“There is more to come from Jack and the other young, hungry players who contributed last season and have decided to continue their journey at this wonderful club.
“I’d also like to give a huge shout of thanks to the fans too, for dipping into their pockets during the close season to help to generate the necessary funds to produce our squad so far.”
