PREVIEW: Clyde v Stirling Albion

Clyde will host Stirling Albion at Broadwood tomorrow, in the club’s penultimate home match of the 2017-18 Ladbrokes League 2 season.

The points have been shared equally between the two sides so far this season, with The Binos already looking almost certain to secure a promotion play-off spot.

For The Bully Wee, club captain Kevin Nicoll is available again after missing last week’s match at Cowdenbeath due to suspension.

Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-

“We’ve got to be positive and there’s still a lot to be played for in the next three games. I feel that we play our best football on artificial pitches and our final matches are all on that surface.

“We’re still aiming for that final play-off spot, but we know it will be a lot more difficult after the result last week. It’s in Stenhousemuir’s hands, but they have a lot of games to play and Elgin will still have a say in it.

“It’s important that we finish the season well, no matter what our final league position is. That will be a sign that the club is moving in the right direction thanks to a lot of good work from everyone involved with the club.”
