Tickets are on sale now for the upcoming Legends Lunch at Broadwood.
The event takes place in the Arria Lounge on Saturday 28th April, before the Ladbrokes League 2 match against Berwick Rangers, and marks the 40th anniversary of Clyde’s 1977-78 Second Division Championship winning season.
Many of the players from that squad that will be in attendance, including; Neil Hood, Brian Ahern, Jim Boyd, Bobby Harvey, Gerry McCabe, Stan Rankin, Arthur Grant, Sean Sweeney, Eddie Anderson, Joe Ward, John Brogan and Graham Finlayson.
Backroom staff Stewart MacMillan, John Watson and John Donnelly will also be attending, whilst Craig Brown is hoping to be there on the day to celebrate his first major achievement in management.
Club Historian Gordon Sydney said: “Neil Hood and I were discussing the team that won the league that season and he suggested that it would be good to have another reunion to mark 40 years. There was a previous reunion at Broadwood to mark 25 years and thus the idea was born.
“Neil has done an amazing job in tracking down many of the squad from that season, as well as the backroom staff, and it all amounts to probably the biggest ever gathering of former Clyde players and officials in one place.”
Tickets are available to purchase now via the club’s online ticketing site at Yapsody.
