New Signing: Chris McStay
The club is pleased to announce the signing of Chris McStay until the end of the season.
McStay, 21, is a midfielder and son of former Celtic and Scotland player, Paul.
Chris was born in Scotland but moved to Australia in his early teens. He continued to play football in his new home, firstly with the University of Sydney and then professionally with Sutherland Sharks.
After leaving the Sharks at the end of their season in September, Chris returned to Scotland recently and was invited to train with The Bully Wee, before being offered a contract with the club.
Clyde manager, Danny Lennon said:-
“We are pleased to bring on board a player with such an excellent DNA. Christopher is a forward thinking player with an abundance of energy and he will compliment the players we already have. I’m sure he will be an excellent addition to our squad.”
