The club is pleased to announce that Aaron Millar has signed an 18-month professional contract with Clyde.
Millar, 19, has progressed from the club’s under-20 squad and made his first team debut last season. Following a loan at St. Roch’s, the forward recently returned to The Bully Wee and has started in the last four Ladbrokes League 2 matches.
Clyde manager Danny Lennon said:-
“Aaron is a young player with a lot of potential to fulfil. He’s got a terrific attitude and he has come into the team recently and worked his socks off. He is a pleasure to work with and someone that wants to do that bit extra to get to the next level. Getting there will only come if he continues to work as hard as he has so far and maybe even more so.
“A big part of the way I manage is closing the gap between the first team and the youth team. We’ve had development squad players involved on a matchday and we also pull one or two of them into our training sessions.”
