PREVIEW: Clyde v Peterhead

The Ladbrokes League 2 campaign continues tomorrow, as Clyde host Peterhead at Broadwood.

The Blue Toon – who enjoyed a 4-1 victory in their last visit to Cumbernauld – are in a fine run of form, winning their last seven league matches.

Darren Ramsay is suspended and will miss out for The Bully Wee.

Speaking to the official website this evening, Clyde boss Danny Lennon said:-

“We’re coming off the back of a very positive result and performance last week. As a manager, I’m looking for the players to replicate that tomorrow and even look to improve on it. It was pleasing to see us getting goals last week and from three diffferent players as well. My only gripe about the game would be that we didn’t get a clean sheet due to a very soft penalty.

“We’re trying to create a healthy atmosphere and environment, with competition, but also with everyone in it together no matter who has the starting jerseys. For those that don’t, they should still be supportive and do all they can to be ready for when the opportunity comes. I think we saw that at Montrose, especially in the way the goals were celebrated. The bench kicked every ball.

“The players have been a pleasure to come in and work with and we have good characters in the dressing room. We’re looking now to maximise the full potential that they have and it’s consistency that makes successful football teams.”
