PREVIEW: Clyde v Annan Athletic
Clyde’s first match of 2018 is against Annan Athletic at Broadwood tomorrow, in Ladbrokes League 2.
It’s already the fourth meeting of the two clubs in all competitions this season, with The Bully Wee on top so far with two wins and a draw.
For Clyde, Kieran Duffie returns after missing last week’s match against Berwick Rangers due to illness and new signings Tom Lang and Ally Love are eligible to be included in the squad.
Speaking to the official website this afternoon, Danny Lennon said:-
“We need to continue to defend and work hard as we have been, but now start adding that bit extra in the final third to turn draws into victories. We have made good progress but we want more and we know that we need more if we want to fulfil our ambition of where we want to be.
“We’ve got a challenging time coming up when the games will start coming thick and fast. However, the players have been absolutely terrific in terms of buying into a new management team and taking things on board. The direction they are going will improve them individually, but also as a team and for Clyde FC.
“I’d also like to take the opportunity to wish everyone associated with the club a Happy New Year.”
