Coaching Role for Crawford
The club can confirm that David Crawford has joined Clyde in the role of goalkeeping coach.
Crawford, 32, has made over 300 senior appearances in the Scottish game and previously had a short spell with The Bully Wee as a player, during the 2011-12 season.
Speaking to the official website, Jim Chapman said:-
“We’ve worked with David before and he’s a good type. He is currently going through his coaching qualifications, so it’s a good fit for both parties and we’re very happy with the arrangement.
“After coming in initially, Blair and Ilies were very comfortable with him and that’s an important factor.
“David is primarily going to be a coach and not registered as player, but he has kept himself in good shape and I’m sure he could provide backup if need be.”
