New Medical Team
The club is pleased to announce the return of former physiotherapist Iain McKinlay to Clyde, as part of a restructure of the backroom staff.
Iain has accepted the role of Head of Physiotherapy, responsible for setting professional medical standards at the club and mentoring newly appointed Graduate Sports Therapist, Alannah MacPherson.
Iain had previously spent 13 years with The Bully Wee, arriving at Broadwood as assistant physiotherapist in early 2002, following the departure of his long-serving predecessor John Watson, who moved to take up a post with the Scotland International squad.
During his time with Clyde, Iain worked under a total of 12 managers and, like his predecessor, Iain’s qualities were recognised at International level. In recent years he has been a member of the Scotland physio team, working with the under-17 squad in a role that has seen him travel throughout Europe and beyond.
Joining Iain is Alannah, who will work with the squad on training nights and matchdays, and is looking forward to progressing her career under one of Scottish football’s most experienced physiotherapists.
