2017 Summer Camps
Stepps Primary School will be the venue for the Clyde FC Summer Holiday Camps – giving kids the ideal opportunity to spend their school break having fun and playing football.
The camps, run by the Clyde FC Community Foundation, are open to children between 4-15 years old and will start on Monday 17th July. They will run for weeks:-
- Week 1 from Monday 17th July to Friday 21st July
- Week 2 from Monday 24th July to Friday 28th July
- Week 3 from Monday 31st July to Friday 4th August
Kids will have the option to stay for either two hours (morning or afternoon) or the full day.
Tom Elliott, who heads up the Community Foundation, is enthusiastic about the programme: “It’s brilliant for the connection between the club and the community and really good for the kids. Exercise is a great thing for young people. They get a lot from it and it helps develop them steadily.
“Following the success of our Easter Camps, I think we’re going to have a really good summer.”
During the camps, children will benefit from structured coaching sessions directed by SFA qualified coaching staff, undertake fun challenges, collect a completion certificate and receive a gift from the club.
Everyone who takes part will also receive a free match ticket for the Clyde v Annan Athletic match on Saturday 12th August (3pm), getting to play on pitch at half-time.
