New Signing: Max Wright

The club is pleased to announce the signing of Max Wright on a one-year contract.

Max, a 24-year-old forward or winger, first entered the senior game with Alloa in 2011 and went on to have spells at Stranraer and, for three seasons, East Stirlingshire.

Last season, he made the switch to Galabank and his contribution at Annan Athletic convinced Jim Chapman to move to bring him to The Bully Wee for 2017-18.

“Max is another player we know very well,” Jim said. “He’s still a young player but he’s already been in the senior game for a long time and he was ready to take on more responsibility within the squad at Annan last season.

“He’s mainly a creative, forward thinking player but he also has the versatility to do the defensive work or take on a different role. His application is first class and he has a willingness to learn, so he’s also the right type to fit into our dressing room.”
