New Signing: Kevin Nicoll

The club is pleased to announce the signing of Kevin Nicoll on a one-year contract.

The 31-year-old midfielder has featured for various clubs throughout his career so far, including Albion Rovers, Dumbarton, Stranraer and Arbroath. In 2013, he had a short loan spell at Broadwood, featuring in 10 matches.

His last senior club was Annan Athletic, where he played in the majority of the 2015-16 season under Jim Chapman.

Speaking to the official website, the Clyde manager said:-

“I’ve known Kevin since he was a young guy at Hamilton and we’re well aware of his capabilities. He’s got plenty of experience and he will add some steel to the midfield and the whole spine of the team.

“We know that Kevin’s had some bad luck with injuries in the past, but he’s been away from senior football for a while and has had less demands on him. From what I’ve seen so far at our pre-season, he’s in the best shape I have seen him in.”
