Under-20s: Ayr Utd 0-2 Clyde
The Bully Wee’s under-20 side followed up on their recent win over Airdrie with an excellent away victory over Ayr United in the Development League West on Monday night.
After a tight first half, the Clyde youngsters went on to dominate the second period and deservedly secured a 2-0 final scoreline.
Aaron Millar scored the opening goal after capitalising on a loose backpass, with Kyle Barr – returning from injury – getting a well-taken second.

Head coach, Richard Fox said: “It was a bit of a game of two halves. We arrived late because of the weather and then the referee made us change kit, so it wasn’t great preparation for the boys.
“We weren’t much of a threat in the first half, but we still looked comfortable and that’s something the boys are getting much better at – seeing through periods in matches when they aren’t on top.
“The second half was much improved and we could have won by more to be honest, we missed a few chances.
“The most pleasing thing for me is that nine of the boys were involved in the 5-0 defeat at Ayr earlier in the season, so they are turning it around through hard work and commitment. It’s starting to go the right way now and there’s a bit more belief in the squad.”
