Goalkeeper Quinn Joins Clyde

The club are pleased to announce that Connor Quinn has joined the first team squad.

The goalkeeper left Livingston in January and has joined The Bully Wee until the end of the season.

First choice ‘keeper John Gibson is suspended for tomorrow’s William Hill Scottish Cup tie at Ayr United, so Barry Ferguson has moved to fill that gap and provide competition between the sticks.

“It’s difficult to get a goalkeeper at short notice,” the Clyde manager said. “Most clubs only carry two now for financial reasons so they aren’t able to offer a loan deal.

“We’ve had Connor in at both night’s training this week and he did really well. He’s tall, good technically and also a good kicker of the ball. I’ve had good reports about him and I’m pleased that he’s agreed to join us for the rest of the campaign.”
