PREVIEW: Clyde v Edinburgh City
Clyde will host Edinburgh City at Broadwood for the first time tomorrow, in the latest match in Ladbrokes League 2.
The previous meeting of the sides in October ended in a single-goal victory for The Bully Wee, after a very tight match.
Since then, City have been one of the form sides in the league and have gone on an unbeaten run built on an impressive defensive record.
Barry Ferguson praised the capital city club when he spoke to the official website today:-
“I have total respect for them. They play in a certain way that’s difficult to beat and I take my hat off to them, they’ve really improved of late.
“From our point of view, the first 45 minutes at Montrose was really disappointing on the back of the Arbroath match. Yes, there is inconsistency across the league, but my team is the only one that’s important to me. We need to find a level of consistency over a longer period of time if we are going to go on and achieve something.
“It’s really frustrating and we’ve spoken about it a lot.
“Tomorrow is going to be one of our most difficult games of the season so far. We’re probably going to have to be patient at certain times of the match but we’ve worked really hard as a group to come up with a gameplan that can get us the three points.”
The Clyde manager also confirmed that he would pick his team from the same squad as last week.
