PREVIEW: Clyde v Elgin City
The Bully Wee host Elgin City at Broadwood tomorrow, in an important match between two promotion chasing sides in Ladbrokes League 2.
It’s the second meeting of the clubs this season, following a 2-0 victory for Clyde at Borough Briggs in September.
Barry Ferguson, who had on new injury concerns to report, was looking forward to the encounter when he spoke to the official website this afternoon:-
“All matches are important, but this is one against a team that we’re close to in the league so there’s an extra edge to it. It’s the type of game that everyone wants to be involved in.
“It’s got all the attributes to be a top game and we’re hoping for a good turnout from the supporters. It’s a top of the table clash and we spoke to the players last night about the type of game it’s going to be and using the atmosphere positively.
“We’ve got a gameplan with the aim of getting three points but we know how difficult that’s going to be, against a good side.”
