Head coach, Richard Fox said:-
“In the first half we were well in the game and I thought we at least matched them. At half-time, we lost Liam Ballie to injury and that affected us in the second half. Having said that, we still lost a couple of goals through a lack of concentration so that was a bit disappointing.
“At 2-0, we pushed on to try to get back into the match and they got a third goal as we opened up a bit.
“We’re a work in progress at the moment and we’ll go again. The boys are a wee bit frustrated at the moment because they feel like they are getting close to it in terms of results. The overall aim remains though, to get the guys ready for the future. We’re playing with a system that matches the first team and we get input from Barry to ensure the guys are ready to be integrated, if that chance comes. It can make things a bit more difficult in some matches just now, but it’s the right thing to do in the long-term.”
