PREVIEW: Clyde v Arbroath
Following a break from domestic football, the 2016-17 Ladbrokes League 2 campaign continues tomorrow as Arbroath visit Cumbernauld.
The Red Lichties have enjoyed a solid start to the season, taking eight points from the opening four matches, and sit just above The Bully Wee in the table.
Clyde will be without Jordan Lowdon, following the news that the defender has required to have knee surgery. However, Scott Ferguson returns to the squad for the first time since January, after a similar injury.
Barry Ferguson spoke to the official website ahead of the match and he was keen to build on successive wins at Broadwood.
“It’s important that our home form is strong,” he said. “We want Broadwood to be a place that teams hate coming to, which it hasn’t always been in the past.
“We are looking to carry on from the Cowdenbeath match, in an attacking sense at least. We’ve done a lot of work defensively over the last fortnight and we’re looking to take that into the game tomorrow.”
