PREVIEW: Clyde v Cowdenbeath

Clyde will host Ladbrokes League 2 newcomers Cowdenbeath at Broadwood tomorrow, in the two clubs’ first league meeting since 2010.

Both sides have had a mixed start to the 2016-17 campaign, with The Blue Brazil taking one win from three and The Bully Wee currently sitting on four points, after a disappointing defeat at Annan Athletic last week despite dominating large periods of the match.

For Clyde, Jordan Lowdon is ruled out with a knee injury that forced him to leave the field early at Galabank. The extent of the damage to the defender is still to be determined, with further analysis to take place next week.

Barry Ferguson said, “I wasn’t concerned with the overall performance last week, but the way that we defended as a team was unacceptable. It’s something that we’ve looked at closely this week and I expect a reaction tomorrow, it’s as simple as that.”
