PREVIEW: Clyde v Berwick Rangers

Clyde will compete in their third match in Group H of the Betfred Cup tomorrow, as fellow League 2 side Berwick Rangers visit Broadwood.

The Wee Rangers have only played one tie in the competition so far – a 0-0 draw with Albion Rovers – with The Bully Wee going down to single-goal defeats to Kilmarnock and Greenock Morton.

For Clyde, midfielder David Marsh is expected to miss the match due to injury.

Barry Ferguson spoke to the official website ahead of the game and he was looking for an improvement on the midweek display at Cappielow. He said:-

“I was disappointed on Tuesday night and the boys know that; they were disappointed themselves. We all want a reaction and a good performance tomorrow.

“At the same time I’ve got to be realistic, the players looked a bit tired on Tuesday but that’s normal for that to happen at times during pre-season. It was the same for me when I played.

“As I keep saying, the most important thing is being ready for the league campaign and tomorrow is another step towards that.”
