Five Players Sign New Deals

Five members of last season’s squad have signed new contracts ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.

Goalkeeper John Gibson, midfielders David Marsh and Scott Linton and forwards David Gormley and Sean Higgins have all agreed terms to stay on with The Bully Wee.

Clyde manager Barry Ferguson spoke to the official website this evening after concluding the deals.

“I’m delighted to have the five of them confirmed,” he said. “They are all important players for us and it was important to get them signed up. They all know what I want to achieve and know what we’re all about as a club.

“Further news will follow tomorrow regarding players committing for the new season and I’m working as hard as I can to build the squad for the campaign.”
