Ticket Deadline for Awards Evening

Tickets are still available for the club’s 2015-16 Awards Evening, to be held next Saturday (23rd April) at Rutherglen Town Hall.

The deadline for securing tickets is this Saturday, when final numbers will be confirmed with the venue. They can be purchased online now or booked by contacting club director Gordon Nisbet by email at [email protected].

The tickets, which include a three course dinner with coffee, are priced at £35 per person.

Following on from the success of last year’s event at the same venue, this year’s Awards Evening will again be jointly hosted by Club Chaplain, John McKinnon and Club Historian, Gordon Sydney. 

The format of the night is specifically tailored to bring the historic achievements of the club together with the present and future, and to honour those who have made a significant contribution to the club along the way.

The schedule for the evening will include the traditional awards for the club’s official Player of the Year and Goal of the Season, along with presentations by the Castlemilk Branch, Executive Club and an inaugural POTY award for the supporters’ team, Bully Wee United.

Two former players will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year; Tommy Ring and Keith Knox, both of whom the club believes more than merit inclusion.

In addition to all of the above, there will be a couple of well-deserved recognition awards presented during this popular event.

Kick-off is 6.30pm for 7pm start with a 1am finish and the dress code is smart but informal.
