PREVIEW: Arbroath v Clyde
The Bully Wee will travel to Angus tomorrow for a Ladbrokes League 2 match against Arbroath.
Clyde are looking to keep the momentum going after back-to-back wins in the last seven days, with The Red Lichties hoping to end a run of four matches without a win.
Following his red card on Tuesday night, Mark McLaughlin is suspended and he’ll join injured trio Brian McQueen, Scott Ferguson and Scott McMann on the sidelines.
Clyde manager Barry Ferguson spoke to the official website ahead of the match:-
“We had a tough game on Tuesday but we need to keep it going. Although we won at Gayfield earlier in the season, it’s not a place that the club has had a good record at in recent years and we want to change that.
“The boys are aware of what’s expected of them and what I expect of them. It’s a tough period of matches we’re in, but we’re not going to make any excuses about that, we’ve got enough in the dressing room to deal with it.
“I thought the fans were great on Tuesday, both in the turnout and the vocal backing. They really got behind the boys during the tough parts of the match and that’s what it’s all about. More of the same is going to be really important going forward.”
