Attendance at Queen’s Park Match

The Board, management and players would like to thank supporters for their attendance at the recent home match against Queen’s Park. It was encouraging to see a crowd over 900 at a time of year when money is tight and the weather and travelling conditions are challenging.

The high numbers in the home support was particularly pleasing.

The attendance on 2nd January was 16% up on the August fixture at Broadwood against Queen’s Park and over 60% up on our League Two average attendance this season, a sign of how well the team are performing.

The players and management have commented on how good the atmosphere was and how important it is to have support in numbers, cheering on the team.

Off the park, the higher than usual crowd provided much need financial support to the Club at a time when we are used to having reduced income, so again thanks from everyone for coming out in such numbers.

It is important, therefore, that this support is replicated again on Saturday, at home to East Stirling, and in future weeks and months to both support the team on and off the park, with much-needed funds through gate income, donations, purchasing a copy of The Clyde View matchday programme and 50:50 half-time draw tickets.

We are still in the fight for promotion and your continued support is vital to help us push on in the second half of the season.
