Clyde Players Meet Ceejay

Clyde’s newest fan, Ceejay Smith, who is the daughter of Sheila Smith and lifelong Clyde supporter Zander Campbell, attended her first Bully Wee match on Saturday when Queen’s Park were the visitors to Broadwood.

Before the game, Ceejay met the Clyde squad and she is pictured above with Ross Fisher, Hugh Murray, Scott McLaughlin, Scott Linton and Sean Higgins.

Ceejay was born on 20th June and diagnosed with holes in her heart. Four days later, she was diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome which sadly, in time, will take her life.

Following receipt of this news, first team manager Barry Ferguson and club director Bobby Gracey visited the Southern General Hospital to meet Ceejay and to offer the club’s full support with her daily battle.

“I hope as many people within and around the club will support the family and assist with their fundraising efforts”, commented Bobby. “We were delighted to welcome them as guests of the club on Saturday.”
