Durie Sidelined by Injury

Clyde full-back Scott Durie is set for a further spell on the sidelines due to injury.

Scott was an ever-present in the team last season but, as reported earlier in the month, he is suffering from a double hernia which is currently keeping him off the pitch.

Barry Ferguson said: “Scott was due to go in for an operation on Monday, but unfortunately that’s now been delayed. We only got the news yesterday so we need to have a rethink now and see if there’s another route we can take.

“At the moment it’s looking like a couple of months before we will see him in action again.

“He’s a good player for us so it’s frustrating but we’ll look into any option we have to speed up his return.”
