PREVIEW: Berwick Rangers v Clyde

Clyde will travel to Shielfield Park tomorrow, for another potentially significant League Two match against Berwick Rangers.

The Bully Wee’s squad will once again be stretched for the trip over the border. A number of players have been ruled out of action in recent weeks, including Scott Ferguson (knee), Scott McLaughlin (arm), Keigan Parker (calf), Paul Slane (illness) and Jamie Barclay (illness).

Clyde boss Barry Ferguson was pragmatic about a potential late challenge for a play-off spot when he spoke to the official website ahead of the match:-

“I’m not pinning my hopes on anything, or giving up on anything.

“Our squad will be similar to the last couple of weeks, at this stage I’m not going to risk anyone’s long-term fitness by rushing them back early.

“It’s disappointing that we’ll be missing key players during the run-in but we’ll give it our best shot, see what happens over the next four matches and then look ahead to next season.”
