Injury Update

Following a busy week containing three League Two matches at Broadwood, Barry Ferguson has given an injury update to the official website.

Scott McLaughlin suffered a broken arm during Tuesday night’s match against Annan Athletic and has already had an operation. Scott Ferguson was also stretchered off in the same match and will require further tests on a knee injury.

On a more positive note, Scott McManus, who suffered a knee injury against Albion Rovers last month, is nearly ready to play again.

Barry said, “It looks like Scott McLaughlin will be out for the rest of the season and we’ll find out about Fergie after tests on Monday or Tuesday.

“Scott McManus is close to returning. I don’t think he’ll make Tuesday’s squad but he could be involved next weekend.”
