Three Players to Join Clyde
The club is pleased to announce that three players have agreed to sign for The Bully Wee, subject to Scottish FA clearance when the transfer window opens later this week.
Hugh Murray and Steven McDougall are joining from Dumbarton, with Ross Fisher making the switch from Troon Juniors.
Murray (pictured on the homepage) has enjoyed a long and successful career in the game, most notably with his first club St. Mirren where he made over 450 appearances over a 15-year period. The 35-year-old, who can play in midfield or defence, left The Buddies in 2012 as their record appearance holder and had recent spells at Partick Thistle and The Sons.
He also holds four Scotland Under-21 caps and has signed an 18-month deal with Clyde.
McDougall (pictured) is a 28-year-old winger or forward who has featured for three clubs in his career to date. He made his professional debut with Airdrie United and established a himself as a first team regular, before moving to Dunfermline Athletic and helping the Fife club win promotion to the Premier League. After three years with The Pars, Steven signed for Dumbarton in 2012.
Fisher, 21, is a former Kilmarnock youngster who featured against Clyde last season while on the books of Queen’s Park. Ross is a defender who is comfortable at either full back or centre half.
Both Steven and Ross have signed until the end of the season.
