PREVIEW: Clyde v Albion Rovers

Clyde host in-form Albion Rovers tomorrow, with The Bully Wee faithful hoping for a positive result to bring to an end the disappointment of recent weeks.

Rovers boss Darren Young was named League Two Manager of the Month on Wednesday and his team currently sit in third place, just four points off league leaders Arbroath.

Clyde lie ninth in the table but remain only five points off of a play-off place and, reflecting on recent matches, manager Barry Ferguson believes there has been plenty for his team to learn from. Speaking to the official website he said:-

“The last three weeks have been disappointing, but we had the boys in yesterday and chatted about a few things and they are now as prepared for tomorrow as they can be.

“Other than the Queen’s Park game, we have started matches quite well but how we react to going a goal down is a concern because we have then been struggling from there.

“That is perhaps down to a lack of experience in the team but the players also need help to get through that and to make sure they don’t panic, keep the right shape and stick to the game-plan.”

Under-20 squad member Ciaran McBrearty is suspended following his red card at Berwick Rangers last week.
