Martin Extends Clyde Stay
Clyde goalkeeper Alan Martin has agreed terms on a new contract extension that will keep him at The Bully Wee until at least the end of the season.
Martin, 25, signed for the club in September on a short-term deal and has impressed with his performances between the sticks.
Clyde boss Barry Ferguson said:-
“I’m really pleased to keep Alan at Clyde until May, he’s a quality goalkeeper. We also shouldn’t forget about Jamie Barclay, so we’ve now got two quality ‘keepers at the club.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that Alan could play at a higher level, but at the moment he wants to be playing games and he feels that that will benefit him.”
