Barry Apologises for Conduct

Clyde manager Barry Ferguson has issued a public apology this evening, following his dismissal from the technical area during Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup match at Spartans.

Speaking to the club website, Barry said: “I apologise unreservedly for my conduct on Saturday. When you have done wrong, you have to admit it.

“I shared the supporters’ frustration over the performance but, regardless of that, I should never have acted in the way that I did. I met with the chairman today to apologise to him and I fully accept that what happened was not acceptable.”

Following the sending off, the club has received a notice of complaint to Barry from the Scottish FA and will not be contesting the charge.
