2014 Golf Day

The club is delighted to confirm that its 8th annual Golf Day will be held on Friday 23rd May at Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort, Cumbernauld.

Club director, Bobby Gracey said: “Following the success of our event at Westerwood last year, it was the natural choice to return to the hotel.

“As usual, there will be a host of footballing greats participating in the event and they will join up with each team to make it a day to remember. We will have the capacity for 22 teams to participate and I am delighted to share that three teams have already been reserved.”

The day will begin at around 11am, with bacon rolls and coffee on arrival. The main event will be 18 holes of championship golf (shotgun, Texas Scramble format) on a course designed by Seve Ballesteros. 

To conclude, there will be high tea followed by a prize-giving and raffle/auction. 

The cost to enter a team is £395 inc. VAT. 

Bobby added: “The ambition is for the event to raise £8,000-£10,000, with all profts being reinvested to the player and operational budget for the 2014-15 campaign.”
