McGovern Joins on Loan

The club has added Dundee United’s Joe McGovern to the squad, with the goalkeeper signing on a short-term emergency loan.

With both Clyde’s current ‘keepers – Jamie Barclay and Nik Rajovic – doubtful for tomorrow’s match against Queen’s Park due to injury, Jim Duffy has moved to bring in additional cover.

McGovern, 19, signed for The Terrors in 2011 from his local side in Northern Ireland, Eniskillen Town.

The paperwork on the 28-day move was finalised this afternoon, meaning Joe is eligible to feature in tomorrow’s match.
