Janczyk Signing Confirmed

The club is pleased to announce the signature of Neil Janczyk, with the 30-year-old midfielder joining The Bully Wee until the end of the season.

Janczyk left Berwick Rangers earlier this month and has already featured for Clyde twice as a trialist.

Neil began his career with his local club Hearts, making his first team debut in 2002. After making nearly 30 appearances for the Jam Tarts, he moved to St. Johnstone in 2005. A subsequent transfer to Brechin in 2007 led to the most notable period of Neil’s career to date, as he made over 100 appearances for The Hedgemen.

During that time, Neil worked under Jim Duffy throughout an 18-month tenure as manager of Brechin and he continued to be a regular feature in the first team.

Following Jim’s departure from Brechin in 2010, Neil stayed on at Glebe Park for another two seasons before joining East Fife for a short spell. He then signed for Berwick in 2012 and played in nearly 50 matches for The Borderers.

Jim said, “Neil has got a bit to find as he hasn’t had a lot of game time recently, but he’s a good passer of the ball and he’ll bring some balance and competition to our midfield.”
