Marsh Signs New Deal

The club is pleased to announce that David Marsh has signed a contract extension until the end of the season.

Marsh, 23, originally joined Clyde in 2012 but an abductor injury kept him out for several months at the start of 2013. He signed an initial short-term deal in the summer as he completed his recovery period.

Now fully fit again, the defender has featured in 11 matches so far this season and scored against Stirling Albion last month.

The club has also moved to add a young player to its ranks, with Vinny Newlands signing from East Kilbride FC.

Newlands, a 17-year-old winger, impressed Jim Duffy when appearing for the Lowland League side and also in training matches with The Bully Wee.

He will begin life with Clyde in the under-19 squad and will become fully eligible for action in January.
