The Castles of Glasgow and the Clyde

Bully Wee supporter and author Gordon W. Mason has kindly donated a limited number of his published book ‘The Castles of Glasgow and the Clyde’ for sale at Saturday’s match at Broadwood.

The book provides a detailed description of over 300 castles and fortified houses throughout Glasgow, Strathkelvin, Dumbartonshire, Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire, with a fascinating historical log and comprehensive research of these structures and sites. Folklore, legends, ghosts and family/local/national history engrosses the reader throughout the book.

Commercial director, Gary Ballantyne said: “On behalf on the club I would like to thank Gordon for his generous gesture, as well as his ongoing work within the community and in the Clyde Archive team.

“We are hoping that he will be available on Saturday if you wish to have your copy signed by our own modest published author!”

20 copies of the book will be on sale from within the Broadwood Suite from 2pm, for a minimum donation of £10.
