Powerchair Tournament

Clyde Powerchair FC are in tournament action at the Kelvin Hall tomorrow.

The Scottish Cup holders will be fielding three teams; Clyde Saltires, Clyde Alba and Clyde Caledonia. The Bully Wee will also be welcoming the newly formed Tayside Dynamo to the action in this friendly event. All are welcome to attend with matches on between 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Clyde Football Club were recently presented with the Scottish FA Disability Club Award in recognition of their work in developing a powerchair football section, which is the first of its kind in Scotland. Saturday is another opportunity for the group to get some competitive action before the Scottish FA launch the first ever Scottish Powerchair Football National League in September.

Clyde Powerchair FC meet twice weekly in Cumbernauld and Glasgow and are currently looking for additional volunteers to support the running of the club, which now has nearly 30 registered players.
