Quiz Night Success

The club’s inaugural Quiz Night took place on Tuesday at Walkabout in Glasgow and was a big success, with over £1500 raised for The Bully Wee.

The event was expertly hosted by Dougie Donnelly, with around 80 participants in attendance. Their sports knowledge was tested against a series of questions, including some crowd pleasers about The Bully Wee!

As well as the quiz, there was also a raffle and auction which contributed to the final total of money.

The night was also boosted by the appearance of Clyde legend Eddie Mulheron (pictured on the homepage with Dougie).

The winning team – the aptly named ‘Eddie Mulheron’s Fan Club’ – consisted of Davie Paterson, Jim McGuigan, Craig Winning, Raymond Richmond, Tommy McCorkindale and Jean McCorkindale. They will be presented with an engraved trophy on Saturday.

Event organiser, David MacPherson said: “I’d like thank Dougie, Gordon and Natalie Sydney and Derek Inglis for all their efforts in making the night a great success. Our venue, Walkabout, also provided a fantastic setting.

“A special thanks go to everyone that supported the event and gave very generously on the night.”
