Craig Supports Hometown Move
Former Clyde player Craig Bryson has spoken to the club to give his positive support to a move to his hometown of East Kilbride, with an EGM taking place on Saturday to vote on the proposal.
The hugely popular midfielder left The Bully Wee in 2007 to join Kilmarnock and is now a big part of the Derby County squad.
“I think it would be brilliant for Clyde,” he said. “It would also be excellent for East Kilbride, which needs an alternative to people leaving to watch Rangers or Celtic.
“I believe Clyde would be in a much better shape if they had moved to EK when it was suggested all those years ago.
“My family still live in the town so it’s a nice thought that I could maybe ‘come home’ later in my career and be a player or even manager of EK Clyde FC.”
