PREVIEW: East Stirlingshire v Clyde
The Bully Wee will travel to Ochilview tomorrow night, for a re-arranged IRN-BRU Third Division meeting with East Stirling.
Following their victory over Annan at the weekend, a win for The Shire would see them move ahead of Clyde in the table. On the other hand, a Clyde victory would move the club into at least 7th place.
Jim Duffy reported to the official website that David Marsh, Gavin Brown, Kevin Nicoll and Michael Oliver are all out injured, with another couple of players facing late fitness tests to see if they can take part.
It was a difficult afternoon for the team against Rangers on Saturday, but Jim felt that a quick return to action could be beneficial:-
“Rangers have better players than the rest of the clubs in the Third Division so they should be beating us. However, the game against East Stirling is a much more even contest which will be won by the side that is up for it the most.
“We did show character on Saturday, which was very pleasing, and we can use that to get us a win in this game.”
