PREVIEW: Nairn County v Clyde
Clyde travel North to face Nairn County in a William Hill Scottish Cup Second Round replay at Station Park today.
The Wee County were disappointed to have a lost a late equaliser in the first match and Nairn manager Les Fridge is looking forward to having a crack at the Bully Wee on his club’s own grass pitch, after feeling that the Broadwood 3G surface didn’t suit his team.
Clyde manager Jim Duffy is looking forward to the replay after the six goal thriller at Broadwood. “The first match was cracking cup tie and I hope that Saturday’s replay is equally as entertaining, but of course with a slightly different outcome.
“The squad will be along similar lines to the first match, where we created some excellent chances and we scored some good goals but despite that we know that we will need to improve to reach the Third Round.”
The game will be played to a finish today, with extra time and penalties determining the winner who will face Forfar Athletic on the 3rd November.
