Hall of Fame Dinner 2012
Preparations are ongoing ahead of the club’s annual Hall of Fame Dinner, which is taking place on Friday 9th November at the Strathclyde Hilton.
Club director and event organiser, David MacPherson, has informed www.clydefc.co.uk that two Hall of Fame inductees have already been confirmed for the evening. They are former manager Craig Brown, who managed the club for nine years, and Harry Hood (pictured on homepage), who scored almost a goal in every two matches during six years’ service for The Bully Wee in the ’60s.
They will join last year’s inaugural entrants, The Dunn Family, Tommy McCulloch, Davie Laing, George Herd and Pat Nevin.
“The event is an important part of our fundraising calendar,” David said. “I would encourage supporters to get the date in their diary and make plans to come along to ‘Back the Bully Wee’. I’m sure it will be a memorable occasion; an evening of good food and entertainment at a great venue!
“I will continue to keep the website updated as further details of the event are confirmed.”
Tickets are available at £500 for a table of ten, with a discounted rate of £450 open to all CIC owners. Bookings can be made through the Clyde Office or via the commercial department at commercial@clydefc.co.uk.
