Clyde FC & Only Sport Ltd
Clyde FC is delighted to confirm that it has agreed a new five-year deal with Only Sport Ltd, for the supply of teamwear and all official club licensed products.
As mentioned in a news item last month, the deal means that Only Sport will manage the retailing to supporters of Clyde replica shirts, Joma branded goods and other merchandise. They were present at the Annan Athletic match and will continue to be available at home matches at Broadwood, next to the food servery under the Main Stand. Online sales are also now available, with a dedicated Clyde section at the Only Sport website.
Club director, Bobby Gracey said:-
“Since joining the board, I have been looking at ways to create additional revenue streams for the club.
“The Supporters’ Trust did a fantastic job in managing the club shop for many years. However it was clear that the model was in need of review and improvement, particularly in relation to the need to create revenues that this activity should provide Clyde FC. Our arrangement with Only Sport will annually create five-figure revenues for the club, which will enable us to reinvest this money directly into improving our product on the park.
“We will also have a fantastic range of official Clyde FC merchandise, with Only Sport being committed to providing the best possible deals and discounts to our loyal supporters. I would urge all fans to get behind this relationship, as every purchase will now make a huge difference to our club.”
Ian McCallum from Only Sport Ltd added:-
“We are delighted with our continued supply to Clyde FC. We have supplied teamwear to the club over the last three seasons and have established great relations with everyone connected with the club.
“This season, both parties felt that we could work even closer together, with Only Sport setting up a shop at home games and also an online facility. We look forward to getting to know all the Bully Wee supporters in the coming months.”
Ian also confirmed that he would be launching some special offers on merchandise ahead of Saturday’s match against Nairn County. Look out for details soon.
