PREVIEW: Clyde v Peterhead

The Bully Wee host Peterhead tomorrow, for an IRN-BRU Third Division match.

The Clyde side will definitely be missing Gavin Brown and Declan Gallagher. Brown continues to be ruled out with a hamstring problem but Gallagher suffered an unfortunate incident this week, as Jim Duffy explained:

“Declan played in Monday night’s bounce match, looked good and came through it unscathed so it was a major disappointment to learn that he had to go to hospital after going over his ankle in the gym later on in the week. Fortunately it’s not too serious, but he will definitely miss tomorrow and probably next weekend too.”

John Sweeney is available for selection again following suspension and new signing Kieran Brannan could also play. Jim continued, “I’m glad that we have been able to freshen up things this week and it is also likely that tomorrow will see a further player join the squad and feature as a trialist. It was important to do that and we will see how they get on.

“Peterhead have done well of late but it’s up to us to try and slow that revival down tomorrow and get back to winning ways ourselves.”
